La Posada, a rural house between Terra Alta and Matarraña
The Posada de Caseres is located at c/Major, 10 in Caseres. It is named after the house that was once used to house people who were travelling or passing through, where they could sleep, rest and eat. The Posada was built in 1928. The house has been restored to suit today’s comforts, while retaining all of the original structure and charm. Its façade is notable for retaining the original decorative elements that were made in its day. You can also see that it has the longest balcony on the entire street. Since 2008, the Posada has been a rural house that offers a cosy and exclusive stay for all of its guests.

Features and facilities of the La Posada Rural House
The house has three floors:
- The ground floor: there is a large entrance with a staircase leading to the first floor. Below the staircase there is a barn that was used when there were horses, there is a space where the stables used to be and which we now use to store dry firewood, it also serves as a storage space for our guests’ bicycles or other items they bring on holiday. At the back is the coolest part of the house, the wine cellar, where we keep our oldest wine in oak barrels.
- The first floor consists of a dining room, a living room with sofas and a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a full bathroom.
- The second floor stands out for its sloping roof and consists of a connecting triple room: divided into a double suite and a room with a single bed (+ an additional bed), it has a full bathroom with shower, a cleaning room: equipped with a washing machine, iron and an outside terrace.
The house has capacity for 5 people, but it can also be rented in its entirety for 4 or 2 people, depending on the needs of our clients. We have a cot and an extra bed.
